Stupid stupid me. Simvastatin question

I like a can of fizzy now and then. I cant stand diet coke its foul. I have been drinking the odd can of sugar free Sprite. Went shopping with homesupport today at tescos as usual and they have some of there fizzy drinks on special offer at ?1.48 for 6 cans. So I treated myself to some sugar free Sprite and some sugar free Lilt. The Lilt is pineapple and grapefruit. Its very yummy and i have just had my second can. As I finished it I rather stupidly realized that it contains grapefruit 😡 and that im on Simvastatin which carry's a warning Avoid grapefruit and/or drinking grapefruit juice during treatment with this medicine. Whoops. Ever feel really stupid. Could I have done any harm at all

Gail, as I understand it you'd have to have a fair amount of grapefruit for it to be a problem with your simvastatin, so I don't think you need to worry about the tiny amount in the Lilt 🙂
 
I'll make sure not to buy you a grapefruit cocktail on saturday!!😉

At least you have read the small print and remembered it even if too late Gail!

I'm sure what Northe' says is true, that boy does know a lot or stuff!
