So I've had really well controlled sugars. To the point where I've even surprised myself. Even over the Christmas period I never went above 10 in a single reading, which I was really Impressed with considering the amount of chocolate and snacking I did.

Then, last couple of days I haven't been able to control my sugars. No idea why. The only thing, as I said before, is I feel a bit rundown.

So yesterday I put on a temporary basal rate. I was still high in the evening when I went to bed (went up to 16). So I treated the high and left the basal rate on all night because I've been having some mornings I wake up higher than I'd like.

Woke up to a reading of 2.8. I feel rubbish. Really weak and I have a horrid headache.

Aww that's not good Amber, just hope you haven't started to go down with that rotten cold that's going around.
Mind you waking up low like that always makes you feel like death warmed up doesn't it.

Sorry you're having a rough time Amber xx
I woke to a hypo this morning when I got up at 5.30, and I'm still feeling headachey and a bit emotional now! The diabetes fairy must be doing the rounds.
Rest as much as you can, hope you feel better xx

Yeah. Thanks guys. I can't tell if I'm feeling ill because I'm ill, or because of my sugars.

But then the rest of the family are a bit under the weather.

Feel for you. That Diab fairy is turning into a right old witch at the moment!

Hope you are feeling better soon and your sugar levels return to a more normal level.
