I've just lost someone who meant the world to me and the pain is almost unbearable. I haven't eaten for 2 days but my blood sugar is elevated and still rising. My wife is worrying about me as well as trying to cope with our loss.
I have taken my insulin as normal as my glucose continues to rise. Does stress/sadness have this effect, or should I be worried that something else is going on. Where is the glucose coming from when I am not eating and only drinking water?
