I know that I should phone NHS Direct but I don't feel well enough. Anout an hour ago my vision went weird and after that I've felt really spaced out and dizzy. If I manage to stand up I'm dizzy. No other symptoms and BG is 10

NHS Direct definitely. Is there anyone with you who could make the call on your behalf?

nhs direct for you most definitely keep us posted as to how you get on take care

Thanks Alison and Gail. I've just spoken to NHS Direct and they've said that I've got to go to A&E to have the back of my eye looked at

make sure you go now and let us know how it goes if you can take care

Just saw this - hope everything's ok!! Thinking of you - please let us know how you get on? Xxx

I hope everything's OK. Let us know as soon as you can.

Thanks everyone I've just got back. They did suspect a stroke but are now sure that it wasn't one. Didn't help when the first ECG showed abnormal results. If the same happens again they've written a note that I am to be fast tracked through A &E

sounds like good news to me glad to hear its not a stroke

Thanks Gail it's a huge relief. When I arrived and explained what had happened the lady on reception gave me a stroke symptom leaflet and sent me straight through. Then we knew the doctor was concerned because he wanted the ECG repeated. Then he said that they couldn't say decide whether or not I'd had a "brain attack". We when had to wait for the blood test results and their final decision. It feels like it has been a long day but I was so relieved when they said I could go home.

Glad you're home Amanda, and that it wasn't a stroke. Try to get some rest, I hope that you can relax and that you are feeling better very soon. 🙂

Thank you Alan🙂

Crikey, scary day!! Very glad to hear it wasn't a stroke & that they are looking out for you by giving you that fast track card in case you do need to go back - fingers crossed you won't need it! Take it easy now, feet up etc! 🙂 xx

Thanks Twitchy. I'm going to wrap myself up in the duvet and do nothing🙂

Delighted you're home safe, I was worried. I hope they find the cause soon.

Pleased to hear you had the all clear, hopefully was just a one off and you won't need to go back 🙂

Thank you Alison and Brett🙂

How you feeling now?

Thanks Laura I'm tired and lacking in energy but otherwise ok
