Havent eaten anything since last night. Since 8.30 I've been doing one unit correction every hour, and changed my cannula but my BG won't go below 8 - it has stayed in the 8's all morning. I'm really hungry but don't want to eat anything until it has started going down. Do you think that it knows that it is my first pump HBA1C next week?

Don't forget, the longer you go without food, the more likely it is that your liver will pump out glucose. Fasting isn't actually a very good idea with T1 at all.

I would suggest eating something to calm your liver down. Not eating is probably making things worse!

Thanks DeusXM I was thinking the same after I posted so I had some Brie. Thanks for suggesting about the food😱
