I'm sorry to hear this Rosie :( Have you tried ginger tea when you feel this way? It can really help to make you feel better. Is it only after eating that you feel unwell, and is it after every meal or certain times of day?

I think omeprazole is quite commonly prescribed for nausea - I was on it for a while after I was diagnosed, so it would be worth a try 🙂 What are your blood sugar levels like when you feel this way? I actually feel quite nauseous when my levels are higher than normal.

Very sorry to hear you had to go to A&E, I hope that you are feeling much better now 🙂

Omeprazole is one of a class of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. They are prescribed to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach. I've been taking Lansoprazole, one of its cousins, for many years for chronic heartburn caused by a small hernia that's too insignificant for surgery. If I ever forget it, I feel dreadful by lunchtime! Hope it works for you.
