Hi there PINKY here again !
Well Caroline Lucas's office as answered and put me onto some body that can maybe help so will send him an email, so some good news there, second went down to get blood result but my surgery is changing there computer system so it's a bit of a mess, now this is what I can't understand she said that my level's were high but no action to be taken?
I'm not happy with that I got no other results i e liver, kidney or vitamin b 12 so I will phone again later to try and get a fuller picture also doing yet another letter to my local PCT to get it from the horse's mouth...! will keep you updated hope every body is feeling fine and in good health....! talk again soon PINKY....

Good for you for keeping the pressure on Pinky - good luck! What you say about your levels and 'no action' typifies so many people's position. How are people supposed to understand and manage their (potentially very serious) condition if they are given half-arsed information like that? Grrr!!! 😡

Under the data protection act you are entitled to get a copy of your test results, ask for a copy, not just a verbal response.

Sorry if this seems insensitive but could someone confirm what the acronym PCT stands for please?

Possibly, Patient Care Team?

Primary Care Trust 🙂 It's the governing body for healthcare in your area, soon to be replaced by CCGs (Clinical Commissioning Groups) in England and Wales, not sure about Scotland 🙂
