Yes, dinnae fash. Even steroid creams can have a systemic effect, and your eyes are so full of tiny blood vessels that the steroid is transported quickly away as well as acting locally.

Hopefully it won't be a long lasting effect Mikey. Got a bit of a shock with a 8.4 when I'd normally be below 6 at this time of the day! 😱
 
Funnily enough I'm 8.4 at the minute due to one too many jelly babies earlier, but I'll just chuck in a bit of correction at lunch. Smug T1, eh?🙄

Eek - I've been using steroid cream off and on for a year or two for eczema on my elbows....

Not used eye drops but know when I had a steriod I section in my knee it affected the blood sugars!
