BIRDS EYE frozen steam fresh mixed vegetables - 4 bags in a pack - are cooked in the bag (no need to defrost) for 4 minutes in the Microwave! They're tasty and better than fresh IMO - and the added bonus is: no pans or dishes to wash up afterwards🙂

Hi @wirralass sorry its a bit late, thanks for the info. I need as much help about food
as I can get, off to Iceland to see what they can supply.
Thanks Ted.🙂xx

I’ve been using these for ages! tesco do their own brand of these that are cheaper, generally! But, there’s sometimes cheaper offers of the birds eye 2 for £...? when tesco try to get rid of stock build up! The birds eye veg is slightly smaller & more evenly sized & the tesco is slightly bigger & unevenly sized but, there’s not much between them! I don’t know about other supermarkets as I only shop at asda, mine don’t have this, & tesco.

I buy the Birds Eye mixed bag from asda preferring them to Asda's own.
Ok they're slightly dearer but worth it for the quality imo. The veg also tastes 'fresher.'
