I suffer from dry eyes and have never taken a statin. In fact, I am no meds at all so would like it unlikely to be the statin. I know lots of people with "dry eye."
My late Dad-in-Law too them with no problems. My cousin and two of my friends take them with no problems. My friend's hubby takes them with no problems but my friend had to come off them. I think it depends on the person. Also there are different kinds and, sometimes, it is finding one that suits you. This happened to an ex work colleague of mine but they found one to suit her in the end.
