Hi, My name is Krishna and I am currently completing my masters in Health Psychology. I am carrying out research for my dissertation and would be very grateful if you could help me.

My study is around south Asian carer's perceptions of the cause and management of type 2 diabetes. I have chosen this group of individuals as they will be the closest to those diagnosed, and if the carer has a negative attitude towards their loved one's diagnosis this in turn can affect how they look after themselves.

It will be in the form of 30-60 minute interviews which can be conducted over the phone. They will be recorded as I will be transcribing the information to analyse.

The criteria is: Must be part of the south Asian community, live in the UK, have a close family member diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and speak fluent English.

If you are interested in this study or require further information, please private message me here or email me on:k.chauhan1@unimail.derby.ac.uk

Thank you in advance

Krishna
