Good afternoon. I am particularly keen for tips on tasty meals, as the Metformin makes me feel sick.

Welcome Sparky, have you discussed the slow release Metformin with your GP if the type you are taking are causing you nausea?

Welcome to the forum, Sparky7. How long have you been taking metformin and what dose? Usually, nausea eases after a few days, provided you take it with a meal, plus reduce your carbohydrate intake a bit. Obviously, that depends on how much you're taking at present.

Hi Sparky, I can assure you that the queasiness with Metformin eases once you've stuck with it for a week or 2. I can recommend you switch to a lower carb bread - I use Warburton's Danish. And you can make some great cakes for a sweet fix using almond flour and sucralose sweetener.
