Anyone got any opinions about socks for diabetics?
Waste of money or good, how do they stay up ?

I think it depends on exactly what you want them for, just general day to day or walking socks.
I find the soft grip tops are good, not too tight and do stay up fine.
You will not find then labelled as diabetic socks but may say suitable for.
The other company who sell shoes and socks for specialist needs are Stunahome.com (on line only though).

There are some socks designed for people with diabetes in the Diabetes UK shop

There are a couple of different sizes, along with some DUK branded socks that aren’t specially developed for PWD.

My feet and pulses seem to be OK when they are checked each year, so I tend to just wear regular socks, but aim for good materials (eg cotton), relatively loose-fitting tops, and no big clumpy seams.

It’s important to check your feet regularly too, not matter how fancy your socks are!
