i stood up this morning, my right foot gave way and I fell sideways onto the floorand. Luckily Mark was here. After several hours at A&E found that I’ve got a bad break of my fifth metarsal in my right boot so they’ve given me a lovely boot to wear!

Oh dear Amanda. I broke my second metatarsal about 11 years ago now. I managed to walk around on mine for a month before finding out it was broken. Hope it heals soon. X

I broke three in one foot a few years ago (somehow; that was quite a bad hypo). (I'm not entirely sure which foot, now, which suggests it healed OK.)
