So confused by the readings

There's an example ....keto pasta 🙂
That is seriously low carb but a bit pricy, pity they don't do lasagne sheets.
I am using edamame bean pasta but again can't find the sheets, that is 15g carb per 100g which is fine as I have about 25g dry weight with plenty sauce.

Well today I did buy some Almond flour and some lupin flour! I checked the carbs and chose these as they were the lowest…God knows what I am going to do with them but maybe some cheese scones might be okay. £10 for 2 little bags of flour, I’d better not burn them!
I have never tried lupin flour but use almond flour aka ground almonds in a crumble topping with low sugar granola, some seeds and butter.
There are low carb recipes for cakes and biscuits on the website sugarfreelondoner which use almond flour.
If you like what you make then ground almonds are cheaper, GrapeTree have good prices for things like that, seeds. nuts etc.

I want to try using it for bread, pastry, cake…though cake would need some sweetener and we would prefer to avoid artificial sugar. I may try it without, then fill it with berries and a bit of low fat Greek yogurt?

Stevia is ok when baking bread, don't need much.
I bake almond flour, linseed flour and wholewheat bread...a third of each.

Yep....like all these diet foods
My nephew is keto and the last time I visited he cooked a lasagne...I'll call him tomorrow and ask where from etc.

Almond flour is already quite sweet so I never need to add any extra sweetener.
It is tricky to get a decent texture for bread as it doesn't have the gluten which gives bread it familiar texture.
I tried keto rolls but they were more like scones. Very nice but not like a bread roll. almond flour, mozzarella, cream cheese, baking powder, bicarb soda, salt, eggs, buttermilk or yoghurt, my comment was 'it neds work'.
Also Keto blueberry muffins from sugarfreelondoner.

The lasagna pasta is made by Palmini
His text came with a !!!
"Remember when I used to cook you fillet steaks with brandy sauce? "
So I'm guessing it very pricey 🙂

Thanks, you are right it is pricy £14.40 for a 338g pack. I don't think I'm that desperate for lasagne.
