Had my blood test on Friday for my review. The recepionist give me an appointment with nurse for this afternoon assuring me my results would be back in time although I had my doubts. Guess what they are not back and I will have to cancel my appt with nurse who can't see me any other day this week. Just venting my feelings lo😡

Gripes, yes. Had that sort of experience too and completely feel your frustration.

Hope if it's made for next week it turns out to be useful for you!

It is frustrating when that happens. AT my doctors they say it takes about two weeks to get the results back. Sometimes we are lucky and it is a week.

Did surgery staff contact you to cancel appt before you set off / arrived? If so, better than a wasted journey. Still frustrating, of course, but results should be back by next week - best ensure by phoning to check.

Believe it not but blood test came through to surgery just befotr 2pm so got to see nursr after all could have done without the stress tho!

No I believe it - ours often come back next day !

However, they have their little systems and they don't like you short-circuiting em !
