Couldn't give specific advice as they vary so much and there are so many available these days - most of them claiming to be 'healthy' 🙄 Usually, you can guarantee that the 'low fat' ones are high sugar, and therefore less suitable for diabetics generally. They might be suitable for insulin users though, to give a boost before and during exercise - so much depends on circumstances.
I have to say, these days I tend to avoid them all, especially the sweet things. If I absolutely must have crisps, I make my own in the microwave using something like sweet potato. I'm a bit scared of snack bars if I'm honest because I know what they'll do to my numbers.
The dietician told me to avoid all cereal bars because of the sugar content. I was told to stick with anything under 5g of sugar per 100g and the same for fat. There is not much around that fits those figures! Melba toasts are ok and I thought I was ok with rice cakes but testing yesterday I realised they send my blood levels soaring 😱 Its a lot of trial and error really
