Smartwatch

I find it mildly annoying having to unlock and open the Libre app to see my levels, so this is great. I didn't set it up until after getting home from work, which is why it's not showing many steps 😉

Hi Lisa,

What model of watch is this, looks similar to my Garmin Venu3. But as probably seen in posts by me a few months back I could not get this to work whatsoever! Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

This is the pixel 3 watch. I downloaded the app Glucodatahandler from the Google play store onto both phone and watch. You also need the librelinkup app on your phone

Does the Venu 3 allow you to install widgets and watch faces from Connect IQ and it's your phone Android or iOS?

I may be able to help you if your watch can install stuff and you're on Android

I didn't know you could get Libre on you watch? I know about the other ones

Out of curiosity I purchased and tested a couple of those watches. Alongside a Libre 2 CGM. In fact the reading on the watch did go up and down with the same pattern as the CGM, however it would vary only slightly, so it would sit steadily at 5.5 mmol/l roughly at my fasting level. Then when a spike happened (12ish), it would change to 6.5. A corresponding low on the CGM it would show 5. It was consistent over weeks. But basically the number was meaningless and could have been replaced by an up and down arrow.

I could say the same for CGM though, both Libre2 and Dexcom 1+ are all over the place with the number and really only any good to indicate direction and give a rough impression of the size of any variation.

Hello, the tests I’ve seen online have suggested these “sensor watches” only register in normal range. Pretty much making it up as they go along. Compared to the more comprehensive CGM sensors. If a user’s BGs doesnt stray that much? Then I can understand how it’s just telling what they want to know. Untill something actually goes astray.

In my tests they got the direction right. A graph from both Libre and the watch went up and down at the same time. Just no realistic scale.
 
Could anyone tell me if the pixel 3 with Glucodatahandler app would work with a Dexcom G7 Sensor thinking of getting one after reading the remarks about it please

The Libre app works side by side with Jugg. But if I tranfer to my watch & out of range or phone off? I need to scan & back fill the data with librelink when using the phone. You should get 8 hours of data off the sensor with a scan. I always start a new sensor with librelink first then juggluco. I’ll tag in @Bruce Stephens who uses a Pixle watch.

Hey sorry for the late question but I've just got the libre 3 and Juggluco and trying to work it all out. I previously used libre 2 and xdrip.

Can I ask do you use a libre 3 to achieve this set up? With a direct to watch connection and also being able to revert to librelink occasionally instead of Juggluco.
 
Not too sure on Libre 3 tbh - but do you have Apple or Android phone/watch? Juggluco doesn't work on Apple (or at least it didn't used to)? XDrip is an Apple App as far as I'm aware

App info says it supports Dexcom. See attached screenshot.
