I'd rather have the bucket filled with gin.........

Half a fever tree, a bucket of gin, ice and some peppercorns for me!

I had an argument in a restaurant as I asked for a diet coke, they said they didn't have coke was Pepsi OK, I said I suppose so but they brought a normal Pepsi and argued that is was the sugar free one and Pepsi Max was the one with the sugar. They reluctantly swapped it but I only noticed when we got home they had charged for both drinks.1
The name is perhaps confusing.
Apologies, just checking in after sev months.. this is dreadful...after sim experiences, I now always say, I have to drink a sug free version...which we do, except if we have low blood sug, n we need proper suger version...oh my...

Personally, you have to go with what the establishment serves. You have asked and would need to consume a huge amount for it to become a problem. Im T2, so if I want the gin, I will have it, maybe not a second one, and will ask again somewhere else. Don't spoil your enjoyment .

ROFLMAO @EMcKT - I certainly haven't ever let such thinks affect either my pleasure in drinking the G&T or the company I'm in whilst drinking it! OTOH sometimes need a double when I'm not enjoying the latter to make em more bearable!

What is ROFLMAO?

Rolling On the Floor Laughing My A**e Off
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
I have done this for real. Laughing so much I couldn't speak. Watching one of Kenny Everett's BeeGees sketch. Fell out the armchair. It was back in the seventies and I bounced more back then.
