@Copepod do you know if there's a way I can find the local CCG policies? I've had a quick Google but not much came up relating to diabetes criteria in my area.
Sorry, I don't know if it's possible or how to do it. You could try emailing to ask to see guidelines, or turn up at a public meeting and ask in person, if there's one soon.
 
I've been talking to my CCG - by email - a fair bit recently. Originally from a section on their Newsletter which asked for comments about something I had comments to make about, so I replied to the email address as instructed, then went on to ask about something entirely different I've been mystified about for years!

Thank you, comments noted blah blah, then that the other thing had been passed on to someone else, they replied. Thanks said I, and mentally filed it in the bin thinking I'd never hear another word.

Wrong!! - helpful reply within 36 hours! Sorted.

So see if you can find the 'Patient (or Public) Involvement' person or department on the website easily, if not ring em and ask who it is and contact details.
