i have just recieved 2 of the most amazing things in the post! 1st one was a letter from the Royal Marines to say they have covered the whole cost of my Dad's funeral!! 🙂 2nd was from Diabetes Uk (southwest branch) to thank me for my donation! i chose Diabetes Uk as the charity i wanted to donate to and they generously gave me 150 hummingbird badges for people to wear on the day in support. and we raised.............drum rolll please..........?229.27! my Dad would have been chuffed! its not a massive amount, but every little helps! positive steps!!! xxxx 😉
 
Thats great to hear Sianee hun well done on all that hard work, so sorry to hear about your sad loss... you have done such amazing work he will be ever so proud x
 
Sorry to hear of your loss, but a nice donation to a worthwhile cause. All the donations add up.
 
Glad to hear Royal Marines (Benevolent Fund or similar, I assume?) could help. Forces charities are generally helpful and generous to those who meet their criteria. Nice to hear that others at the funeral supported Diabetes UK.

Hi I'm so glad you got help from the Royal Marines , because it smust be such a difficult time for you.

Sorry to hear of your loss Sianee, as an ex-serviceman myself (23 yrs RAF)this is what your dad would have expected from the benevolent fund. you raised a lot of money no doubt he would have been proud. well done.
