So I've been in and out of work for the past week thanks to some serious highs that have no rhyme or reason to them - pumps fine, sites have been fine, basal rates have been fiddled with to sort it out but to no avail. Then last night my feet felt like they were literally on fire, shooting pains all up my legs. I have peripheral nueropathy anyway and have been on lyrica for ages but last night was horrendous, got barely any sleep from it and couldn't even get any respite by trying to keep my feet cool.

Off I toddled to the doctors this morning who have since DOUBLED my dose of lyrica with a warning it will probably knock me out for the next few days, and signed me off for a week.

*Sigh* At least I'll have time to get started on my next book.

Hope things stabilise for you soon, and that the double-dose reduces the pain (but doesn't knock you out too much!) 🙂

Must be something in the air, My feet were horrendous last night too. I notice a massive difference in my feet when i have been running high or have been running high then stabilise. Hope they settle down soon for you x
