I have come down with a sickness bug and googled wether to continue with medication (yaltorminin).info says to stop taking until eating again.Has anyone been in same situation.I dont want to phone GP for something like this

The medication is slow release metformin and just works away in the background rather than directly on the food you eat but is normally recommended to take with food as that minimises the stomach issues some people get, which is probably why they suggest not taking if you are not eating. Missing a tablet if you need to would be unlikely to cause a problem. I'm sure people forget occasionally.
The pharmacist would be the best person to ask.

You don’t need to ring the GP just check the leaflet in the box. It will likely say the same as you found online but follow whatever the leaflet recommends.
