ok not sure if we have had this, but for the past 3 days now i have been feeling like i need to be sick all the time. its not even just when i eat it is literally all the time. now i am healthy levels are great and i am hydrated to a superb level (having 12 litres or agua a day) and i havent had a beer in 2 days.

any ideas anyone???

Do you really mean 12 litres of water a day?? Or is that a typo?!

lol sorry 12 litres is a typo hehehehehehe

Could be the warm weather. How have your bowl movements been? If I don't have one fore a few days I feel sick.

On the other hand it could be all that water, you're water logged. If it continues go see the doctor cos feeling sick is not normal!

bowl movements are fine. water was a typo. been the docs the otherday and he said its nothing to worry about. he had a feel of the gut and bowls and a listen to. just hate feeling like this.

Hi Mike, are you still in Kenya? That's pretty relevent in this case. If so, the most likely explanation is a gastro-intestinal upset of some sort. Nausea (feeling sick) is particularly common with some intestinal parasites. Have you been able to acclimatise to the hotter conditions? Your actions all depend on how troublesome you find the feeling.

only been in kenya since yesterday so i have been able to rule that out. it is a feeling of being sick but not even retching. tried to keep my food intake to what i normally have when i am out here and also drinking plenty of clear fluids etc.

Have you tried peppermint or ginger teas? They help relieve tummy/gastric problems and are only a problem if you want a teaspoon of honey in them. They take a bit of getting used to taste wise but help bring some relief. Hope you feel better.

ta for that caroline i will try them 🙂

Hope it works and you feel better soon. If you can eat a small piece of root ginger it will do the trick, but most people prefer the tea.

I wish we could drink a cup of this or a cup of that and get rid of the sugar gremlins!
