ikeep hearing these mentioned mainly off people who have been on danfe and the like courses. what are they?

when your really ill and cant eat or drink, then the sick day rules apply and involve injecting a certain percentage of your total daily dose on a 2 hourly basis to tackle the ketone build up.......background insulin is taken as normal.....

I can say from personal experience they have been very successful in controlling ketone's...........
