Should I get a flu jab

Had mine today, one year pre-diabetes I decided not to have it, I got flu and was off work for 6 weeks, as it caused me to have lots of breathing problems with my asthma. Always make sure I get it now.

Had mine yesterday too @Grannylorraine! My local pharmacy offers drop-in appointments for us regulars, so I didn’t even need to faff around making an appointment, I just popped in when I was passing and had it done while I was there. 🙂

I had my flu jab just over a week ago. It didn’t hurt at all and no after effects.

Our surgery is still only advertising flu jab clinics for the over 65s. I see my nurse for my annual review in a couple of weeks, and I’m sure if they’ve got the stuff in for the more youthful, she'll jab me then.

FWIW, even tho Oz had a bad flu season this year, the vaccines were supposed to have been pretty effective. So if the same strains hit you this year you can have a bit of confidence that yr flu shots will work.

I had my shots & didn't get the flu, which proves it! (j/k - I haven't had real flu since about 1987).
