Should BG be back to pre meal range after 2 hours

Remember you can get a half-unit pen for your Novorapid too. That’s very useful.
On the pen front, something that some people are not aware of is that you can get reusable pens.
To be honest, I have no idea why single use pens are becoming the default.
Reusable pens are more robust, take up less space in your fridge and better on the environment.
You just have to change the cartridge when it runs out which is pretty straightforward for most people.

@Type1Pat if you are prescribed the single use pens, I would encourage you to ask for the reusable pens and cartridges.

Yeah was thinking this myself to be honest. Like you say would be a lot easier.
 
Another thing that can be useful @Type1Pat is half unit pens. These are also more readily available now,( and if you get the children’s ones they come in a variety of colours)
