Sorry to just jump in on the thread, do u mean like granulated sucralose sweetener? x

Must admit, I really don't like the aftertaste of most sweeteners and I have cupboards full of pretty much every different one you can buy, I have at least 10 and Erythritol and Stevia are amongst the ones I really dislike.
What I don't understand is that the sweetener in diet drinks doesn't seem to have that horrid aftertaste, so I am fine drinking a diet cola although I dilute it at least half and half with water these days.
Diluting coke that's crazy! x

So its not just me. i have to admit my diet tonic water does not give me aftertaste. i rarely drink diet cola or things like that.
Just recently i tried these keto peanut bombs . yuck. John made blondes for me and lovely until after.
Guess telling me not to eat but sometimes you just want something .

Actually, it is no different to putting stacks of ice in it and taking your time to drink it. By the time you get to the bottom of the glass the cola is pretty well diluted. I just do it deliberately with water to cut down my consumption of all those additives it contains. I started with 3/4 cola and 1/4 water and gradually increased the water and decreased the cola as my tastes changed. Now I often just have an inch of cola in the bottom of a tall glass and top it up with water. If I am out at a pub, I get a half pint in a pint glass and get them to top it up with water.
