Hi
@jrd656 I had a partial pancreatectomy 13 years ago and am generally in rude health. If your dad isn’t taking his Creon and partaking of fatty food he will feel ill, not only will he probably have stomach pains and the accompanying dash to the loo, he won’t be taking in any nutrients which may explain him taking to his bed. (If I over indulge in fatty food, even with Creon, I have been known to have to have a lie down for an hour as I feel sick and I vow never to eat ever again, but I’m usually fine the next day.) He may be malnourished if he’s not taking the correct amount of Creon and that would make him feel pretty ropey. I am only guessing as I’ve never not taken my Creon, too much of a risk. I think as
@Pumper_Sue suggested I would make him an appointment to see his GP just to rule out anything else. One thing though, does he make a habit of not taking his Creon and has he given you a reason for this? You must make him understand that it isn’t a drug, it’s a supplement and you need what you need. Elaine.
