I have been using these products for a month now and lost over 1 stone.

During that time I have monitored my blood sugar with a Freestlyle Libre 2 monitor and associated app.

I have noticed that their products produce a much larger spike than low carb meals such as mushroom omelettes and chicken salad. I appreciate their goal is low calorie rather than low carb but the spikes are quite alarming.

Anyone else noticed this?

I suppose that is because low calorie does not always mean low carb, It is just a different approach which works for some people.
If you are using their products then check out the carbs so you have a comparison.

It is also because these products are very highly processed, so the carbs in them are broken down very rapidly.

Slimfast is the same. :(

You might find some experiences of other brands of shakes in the remission section @kev0360

We have a few members who have successfully used soup/shake approaches as a weightloss kickstart, and some of them may have reported glucose readings as part of their weightloss journeys?

I just got all my SlimFast in. £1.69 a bottle from Home Bargains. It's gonna kill me. I'm finishing off with a couple of mini pork pies first... 😳
