I have just downloaded the app for Libre2 on my phone and am using it and my reader to check readings. When you start a sensor and use the reader and then the app, can there be a time difference? Does the app pick up the time from the sensor, presumably set by the reader, or the phone?

I'm not sure. I always kept my Reader fairly close to the correct time (I think it got to ~10 minutes out at one point, but not really enough to notice). My hunch (and it is only a hunch) is that the sensor has a clock that starts when it's activated and doesn't get told the actual time (and so doesn't report it).

But that would make a mess if the two things were different enough and both uploaded to LibreView, I guess. Best would be not to test it, I think, by keeping the reader's clock more or less correct. If it's too late for that then have a look and see what's happening. (By looking at the Logbook after scanning, for example, where it shows the time.)

Yes, your phone will automatically change to the time going forward or back, but the reader is not that clever. As @Benny G says, if you change the time settings on the reader the recently saved data will disappear.

Thanks, guys. Both are at similar times. I just think the graphs, though similar in shape, are slightly different in time, but it may just be my eyes!!! Really appreciate all the replies. Pat
