Hi all, I wondering if anyone knows what the accuracy is of the Dexcom sensors compared to Libre 3? I'm using libre 3 with my new Ypsopump but I'm noticing that the algorithm says I'm low quite frequently when I'm not - it will ready 3.5 for about 2 hours when, if I monitor with finger pricks, is usually about 4 initially, I treat as a hypo with some glucose tablets and finger prick tests confirm that my blood sugars are rising to 6 or 7 but the sensor remains at 3 ish for several hours. I understand that there is a time lag and the sensors are not as accurate as finger pricks but the problem is that the low readings mean my pump shuts off my insulin for several hours and I'm finding I'm going high later in the day. I could run my levels higher to avoid this but I think that defeats the object of trying to have good control. I'm wondering if I might be better off with Dexcom. I only chose libre 3 because I was using libre 2 before switching pumps. I never noticed my libre 2s doing this so it could be a dodgy sensor but I don't think so because it agrees with finger pricks most of the time.
