Its the same as the first 7.9. DSN says she would still normally suggest treatment but as Ive done so well and I want to continue to be diet only and to keep a 3 monthly check on the blood test. She says fine. My Bg's are on average 5.1 to anything up to 12 post meals.
She says she see's a lot of folks with BG's of 20 or above. Some nearly 30.
I told her I slipped up in sept, by consuming nearly 2 cartons of prune juice, before I realised the sugar content was 29.!!!.

I have lost 8kg in weight since March.Now levelled off.
 
Good to hear that your HbA1c is stable. I think that what you need to concentrate is getting those higher end readings down which will be keeping the HbA1c higher and also representing quite a swing in blood sugar levels. Have you identified what foods cause you to 'spike' up to 12?
