Brave Finley Dorrington put his school forward for an award after praising staff for being a 'class above' when it comes to handling his diabetes.
The seven-year-old needs life saving injections every day and to have his blood sugar levels monitored regularly in order to keep the condition under control – with the family dog even aware of when action needs to be taken.
Now football-mad Finley has made sure staff and teachers at Rocester's Dove First School know how grateful he is for their help after telling officials at Diabetes UK just how good they are.
And the national charity responded by handing them the Good Diabetes Care in School Award during a special presentation session.

A good, positive attitude from Finley 🙂
