I should have had a hernia op in February but after being told I needed an echocardiogram everything has changed! I now have to go into hospital next week for open heart surgery!!! I’m terrified! My bloods control is none existent the harder I try the worse I get. My insulin doesn’t seem to work as good as it did.

Good grief, I'm not surprised you are terrified! I suggest that you don't worry too much about your blood control at the moment. Can you get a face to face or phone appointment with your DN urgently? If you phone the practice and explain what you're going through you may be able to get to chat to someone which may bring you some peace of mind. All the very best of luck with your op.

I think it’s very normal to be nervous @ivygirl Sending you my best wishes for the operation. I hope it sorts out whatever issue you have.
