These stories do the rounds every now and then, each more elaborate then the last. Aspartame is just one subject, and it's easy to get caught out. Remember the one about deodorants 'causing' breast cancer?

I get headaches whenever I drink something with Aspartame in it so tend to avoid the stuff if I can, but since I have the same trouble with saccharine I tend to take these scares with a large pinch of salt. I expect the stories were floated by sugar producers originally. :D
