Hello. I went and had my bloods taken on Wednesday for my diabetic review. The Nurse said results should be back today so I’ve emailed them and been told the HbA1c won’t be back until next week but the other results are satisfactory. This is from the receptionist so couldn’t get any other information. What else do they rest for other than cholesterol? Should I be happy with this do you think? I think I am but feel like I’m constantly second guessing myself at the moment

Ring next week and speak to the expert is my opinion
you might want to ask questions a receptionist cant answer

Prob Liver/Kidneys/pancreas

Possibly a Full blood count too

Hi bakebeans,

I think it's worth giving them a call to get a more in-depth review. I find knowing numbers helps to track progress and you may have questions that could be answered there and then so worth a try.

Sorry you haven‘t been given access to your actual results @bakebeans

You should be able to get your surgery to give you access to your results via Patient Access - though you may have to wait until the pandemic hoohah has calmed down a bit before sorting that out?
