Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi friends. Would it be safe for me to use paracetemol and Ibuprofen gel together for my aching joints? I'm asking because I have type 2 diabetes.

You'd be best talking to a pharmacist about your individual case as any other medications you may be on may need factored in xx

Absolutely agree with @Kaylz. That's one for your pharmacist or GP, they know far more about you than any of us do.

Depending on the strength you need, they are both General Sales List medications (i.e. anyone can sell them) and can be taken by diabetics. But if you have other medical conditions or take other medications then it is always advisable to check with a pharmacist.

I have been prescribed both of those, the paracetamol being in co-codamol and the ibuprofen gel being prescription-only strength.
