Have posted on here before via Mickey Bikey threads and foot care etc etc regarding my brother.......he passed away this afternoon. Problems solved and awful decisions taken out of our hands, but he was my big brother........ I am so distressed..... Grief takes many forms and I still believe my diabetes is the result of losing our daughter in-law three years ago. Need to keep on the path........

So very sorry to hear this. I followed some of your posts about him and could feel your worry and frustration about the lack of joined up care he was getting.

Sending (((HUGS)))

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother’s passing, my thoughts are with you <3 Losing someone close, especially a sibling, is deeply painful, no matter the circumstances. You're absolutely right: grief takes many forms, and it can shape our health and lives in ways that are hard to fully explain to others.
Be gentle with yourself in the days ahead. It’s okay to feel the weight of this loss, and it’s okay to lean on others — whether here or in your circle — for support. Keep holding onto that intention to stay on your path, but also allow yourself grace when it feels hard. I'm sure I can speak on the behalf of this community on this - we’re here for you.

How very sad. It was clear from your earlier posts he was in poor health but losing a sibling is tough. My younger brother died suddenly in his early fifties and I still miss him. I know you will eventually find joy in unexpected memories.
Take care.

Really sorry to hear this. Having lost a sister and a brother myself, and both younger than me, I can relate to how it feels for you right now.<3

sorry to read this @EMcKT
