They hardly take up much room either - I mean if they're useless anyway you may as well stick em at the back of wherever, cos you're hardly going to need them for anything important! - as long as you remember where it is so you can send them back whenever.

@trophywench they take up quite a bit of room when you have not much room to begin with trust me, when they did our kitchen up they took away a considerable amount of cupboard space, council flats don't come with much as it is up here, add in that I've had to get Asda and Tesco things in to save my dad driving the 30 miles often to drop it off as a special trip or him taking time on his way back to the depot after a long day to drop stuff off, had to get other things in too so while 3 boxes of strips may not take up much room for you it does for me when I don't have any room

Mike's post does state in the very first sentence it was Aviva strips though xx

Many people do not realise that some companies make more than one meter and that these meters can use different strips.

with the same name.

Interesting that they’re still in circulation. I’m pretty sure they weren’t sat in our box for very long.
Yes, nobody was interested at Roche when I rang, but a few months later I had another box, same batch, same problem. This time they took more notice and seemed very concerned.

I well remember Northerner posting a Safety Notice alert from Roche concerning the Combo pump Karen. Apparently, if you attach the tubing to the filled cartridge, and then insert the whole nicely attached into the pump, there's a very real chance insulin may leak and completely seize up the piston.

This was several months after my (slightly panicking) phone conversation with the Helpline and them replacing it. They'd never told ME 'why' - but anyway I was obviously part of the evidence that caused them to issue a warning. Of course I'd been doing exactly that - seemed daft not to …...

But Mikes first line clearly states "Roche have issued a safety notice about a specific batch of Accu-Chek® Aviva Test Strips" whereas the boxes pictured clearly state Mobile surely anyone would know that they weren't the same thing especially given that the box also states 50 tests in 1 CASSETTE

Hell @Kaylz - I thought I didn't have much patience.

Chill!!
