Just back from a lunch at a friend's house. Hubby was included. My friend tried very hard to accommodate me........we had roast beef and she had the usual bits but no Yorkshire pudding. So. I had the beef, three of the tiniest roasties, three tiny and they were tiny parsnips, carrots and cauliflower. She forgot to do greens. No gravy for me as I don't like it. Apple crumble specially made for my DH. Pecan roulade or profiteroles. She had kept that packet so three of them was 15 carbs with some single cream. More than I normally eat especially at lunchtime, but did enjoy it. However, looking at the size of the potatoes and parsnips really made me wonder if I really do miss them.......is it worth the carbs????? I think not, rather have a couple of glasses of prosecco instead , but now home I am surprised to be hungry!!!!! Have some cold salmon which will do me for tea. Have not added up the carbs ...........
