Sooooo - the original HbA1c tests (cos there have to be 2, with a gap in between, both 48+) to diagnose diabetes - could not have been all that long since you had Covid, then? - hence I wonder ...... but like you, am happy to be guided by your next A1c test.
Do you ever bother to test at completely random times of the day/night rather than before/after meals etc?
