Reusable insulin pens

I have been on disposable pen since day 1 but moved onto novo pen 6 this week as I am moving onto Fiasp and they have a shortage on disposable pens.I asked the DN why they don’t do this as standard to reduce waste and save money and she agrees that it doesn’t make sense that they don’t do this.

Which basal do you use? Have you asked for a reusable pen for that too? If it is also NovoNordisk insulin, make sure you ask for a different coloured pen to the one you have for the Fiasp.

I am currently on Toujeo so don’t think it will work with novo pen.

That is correct. I don't know if there is a reusable pen for Toujeo.
