Type 2
Hi. I was diagnosed with Type 2 nearly 12 years ago. I joined this forum on diagnosis (under a different username) but drifted away after a couple of years.

Like a bad penny, I'm back. Older, certainly not wiser ...

Welcome back @NikNak!

Hi and welcome back.
Never to late to improve things on the wisdom front 😉 and lots to learn here. Is there anything particular which has brought you back to the forum? ie. particular aspects of your diabetes management which is causing you difficulty or have you just come in search of moral support and maybe the accountability to help motivate you?
Do you home test with a BG meter? Most people find that really helpful in keeping them more engaged with their diabetes management. I certainly found that a really high reading after eating something a bit naughty helped to curb my enthusiasm next time the opportunity arose but more importantly seeing good results week after week encouraged me to keep making the right choices.

Anyway, whatever the reason for your return, I hope you find the forum beneficial to you.
