Hope they can offer you some effective treatment and strategies to stabilise things and slow any progression.

Thanks Mike unfortunately ive Been told that there’s nothing can be done at the moment and nothing I can do to slow down to slow down the progression. He put quite a bit of emphasis on there not being anything I can do With regard to the new things.

I'm really sorry you've got other problems with your eyes Amanda.

I had surgery to remove an epiretinal membrane that was growing across my retina a few years back and the surgery was successful so there are maybe things to help- not that anyone would put their hand up for it!

Why can't things just settle down and behave. Sending positive vibes your way.

Thank you Flower. I’m sorry that you had to a membrane removed and I’m glad it worked for you.. I’ve been told by doctors at both Moorfields and my local hospital that removal of the epiretinal membrane would be too risky - the doctor on Tuesday said that they wouldn’t want to remove it because of the damage to my other macula.
