Hi everyone hope you are all well today.
I have just received my results from Salisbury's Hospital regarding my retina screening on 3rd May ( 2 months)! It states :-
The result indicates that you may have proliferative retinopathy. This means there are changes to the blood vessels in your retina, indicating you are at risk of long-term problems with your sight.
Your images have been passed on to Mr ***** at my Hospital.
To be honest I wasn't expecting that, as it was 2 months ago, I just thought it would say there are very little changes and no treatment needed, or something along those lines.
I have my 'normal' eye appointment in August so they may leave it till then. Anyway, if there is any treatment involved ( I hope not
)then I know I will be in good hands. Mr **** is a brilliant eye Doctor, and he even let Tia look at the back of my eye at the last eye appointment.
Best wishes Sheena
