Went for my 6 monthly bloods on Thursday and the results popped through the door this morning! Last time HbA1c 52, must admit I was disappointed....drum roll, this time 47! OMG! Lowest I have been since diagnosis 7 years ago! I really am surprised, the only thing I think it could be is I am now retired and don’t have the temptation of being in the town everyday and colleagues bringing in cakes, biscuits etc. Plus I have definitely upped the exercise and not sat at a desk all day. Happy days. :D

Fantastic result and well done, exercise is obviously helping. Glad you have such happy news.

Well done Eggy. That's brilliant.

Thanks everyone. Got my review next week to discuss results with a different DSN, gulp!!! Just got my regular one trained up on weird diabetics after over 7 years! If this one says my result is too low I won’t be happy! I have worked hard on getting my basal/bolus right thanks to this forum, as of course I am not allowed to go on a DAFNE course because I am not Type 1! Grrr!!!! :(
