Wonderful news and a great result, wirralass, you deserve to feel smug :D😉

Excellent results, @wirralass! But a leaflet on low fat eating? Don't they know how got into remission in the first place? Low fat & low carb is virtually impossible.🙄
Thank you mark. If I'd have placed a bet on my result then I would have lost my money!!
GP wants me to try low fat meals for the benefit of my heart hence the Link.

Wow, well done. Must be such a relief after all you have endured recently. I hope you enjoy the celebrations.
Thank you NJ ~ I think our HbA1c's results are always a worrying time for us particularly if we've suffered setbacks beforehand ~ or have been lax with our diets and/or exercise but ~ what will be will be. Thankfully I needn't have unduly worried........Oh and I will x

Terrific results @wirralass! 🙂 Really pleased for you 🙂
Thank you Northie ~ I would never have thought my HbA1c result would have been in the 30's this time round ~ and I did postpone going for my bloods several times but in the end had to bite the bullet! I must have bitten at just the right time!:D

Congratulations, WL!
Aw thanks Robin ~ I have no idea how I produced a 33 as it's difficult to maintain constant in range bgls at the best of times ~ but I ain't complaining🙂

Well done Mrs Rabbit :D.
Thank you HOBIE. Actually I miraculously changed into a rabbit when I was first dx with an HbA1c of 53! Have come a long way since then thanks to all the help & advice from folks on this forum🙂

Well done WL! Brilliant result 😛

I don’t want to be a bit of a Jobe’s Comforter, but get the anaemia sorted because it can give a slightly lower Hba1c result. I’m always aware of that with mine.

Thank you Amigo ~ and thank you for your concern re my anaemia. That's an interesting piece of info. I'm picking up a prescription tomorrow for my anaemia then will go for bloods in 2months at the same time as for my Thyroid level. For the moment the Levothyroxine has been increased by 25mcg tho my thyroid levels do tend to fluctuate. Take care.

Fabulous result wirralass. I go for my HbA1c on 8th May following up on my 69 recorded last November. Since the turn of the year I have been working hard to get into the low forties, and doing my own calculations I'm around the 42 mark, be interesting to see what the real result is.
Keep up the great work, and enjoy the occasional treat, you deserve it.

Thank you Chappy good to see you here again. I fully intend to have one or two treats to celebrate ~ even a glass or two of Rosè:D Tiramisu & Rosè go well together for me!🙂

Theres no reason why you can't achieve a lower HbA1c if you are ever mindful of low carbs ~ portion size ~ and exercise. An HbA1c of 42 is a great number to aim for and would place you in the non~diabetic range. Good luck, stay in touch and you will let us know how your review goes won't you?
