any good tips to taking these off when expired, currently using warm water and prising carefully so as not to inflame the skin, my dad bruises very easily, bit of patience not too difficult.

Prising gently is just about all you can do. I find if I pick at one bit until I've loosened it, it may make the skin red in that little bit, but then once I've made a start, the rest then peels off quite easily. It's only the outer circle of it that's stuck down, so I just get a dirty ring where it's been.

Same as Robin, I work on one bit to get a nail under the sticky bit and then it gives way.
I also end up with a bit of soreness where I started on it, but it soonfades.

There are proprietary sprays you can get (please don't ask me for a name cos I can't remember) however I'd ask dad's pharmacist or one of the specialist nurses at his hospital diabetes clinic. There's not much 'sticky pad' showing though so I've just had another thought!

A million years ago when we had cast iron material Elastoplast plasters, inevitably they'd leave a grubby grey of not completely black 'ring' on wherever you'd had the plaster. My mum used to adorn the outline with Vaseline, and tell us to rub - it melts adhesive! So - maybe you could loosed and edge with cheapo Vaseline (you don't have to rub hard and it still works cos I attacked the scar on my leg after the dressing came off my knee op recently. The scar was fresh and sore so I certainly didn't attack it, more 'gentle massage' really) and then spray under the lifted up edge?

Same as Robin. Then, for a few days afterwards, I moisturise the red patch that’s left with E45 Itch Relief cream or similar.🙂

I have found that rubbing baby oil around the sensor, and then under the sticky plaster as it lifts, has been the best way to remove them. It stops them pulling the skin and cleans away the black sticky marks as well as moisurising. Hope this helps.
