I was out with a mate yesterday and rediscovered chamomile tea. Perfect, soothing, relaxing..When you are fed up of conventional tea...

Chamomile is perfect for evenings and the run up to bed time as it is so relaxing and aids restful sleep. Some people take it with a little honey in it too, but I am not sure if the honey is OK or not for anyone with diabetes.

Honey is low GI, so it's probably not too bad - but it will most likely depend on the individual to what impact it has.

Chamomile and Honey work's quite nicely for my throat 🙂

Although the name Chamomile always makes me recollect a Channel 4 TV series from the early 90's 😱
